Guy 1: Good thing you like women, because us two guys hang out quite a lot.
Guy 2: You better hope I like women.

no better friend, no worse enemy

This person is a badass who sticks closer than a brother, as long as you don’t cross him.
I believe no better friend, no worse enemy is a motto for the US Marines.

You better Ask somebody

-To be informed
- a reference

-To get another persons opinion on something

- to find out something that a lot already know
If you don’t think am good at driving my car in a race track you better ask somebody

white van bitter

A beer of unknown origin delivered in contravention of a licensee's contract with his approved suppliers, in the dead of night, by a white van.
This beer isn't Tetley's, I think it is White Van Bitter.

batters on deck

A girl who is so beautiful, smart, funny, and has such a good personality that she is not only taken but has guys pursuing her in the hopes that her boyfriend slips up. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity if you get to be with a girl like this, but it seems there is always someone ahead of you in the "batting order."
Guy 1 : "Wow, that girl is just amazing in every sense of the word! Do you know if she has a boyfriend?"
Guy 2: "Haha you've got to be kidding me, don't even waste your time, she's got batters on deck."

Better than nothing

Someone who's not Mr. or Mrs. Right, but is Mr. or Mrs. Right Now. Someone who will do in a pinch until a more suitable person comes along.
"Hey, what do you think of my new girlfriend?"

"Well, she's better than nothing..."
