Albeit an older definition, a staffer is a person who works for a company, group, organization, etc. So basically an older way of calling yourself an employee.

Random guy: What do you do in life?
Random guy 2: I'm a proud staffer at Sega! I get to make Sonic games!
Random guy: Wow! Congratulations!
Random guy 2: Thanks!
