Oscillating Potcham Effect

Often likened to Karma, this is the rare linking of two peoples fortunes (or karma) so that when one is up, the other is down. Often in context of sexual exploits or progress with the opposite sex. Often refered to as the OP Effect.

Guy 1: Mate, i am totalling experiencing the OP Effect!!
Guy 2: ahhh the ol Oscillating Potcham Effect
Guy 3: Gutted boyo, you are never gunna get laid now!!

patchwork car

An automobile comprised of the parts of many different automobiles, generally crappy old beater parts from junk yards and such. They will often be different colors, such as a red body with a blue hood, white door and green bumper. Often has parts on it that still need to be fixed (such as broken tailights, missing mirrors, etc.) Operator of said vehicle is usually poor at driving, at best.

Me: Whoah, Meg check out that patchwork car!

Meg: Sure is hideous! And that driver is poor, at best!

When a girl goes for a night out with her friends and wakes up the next morning in a strange bed, feeling used and ashamed. On some occasions, she will wake to find she has been branded on her rear.

Pitch a Drunk

Pitching a drunk is like pitching a tent--you're planning to be there for awhile. Typically, one pitches a drunk several days long, such as over a three-day weekend. This is the primary reason breakfast cocktails such as bloody marys and mimosas were invented, as they allow the drinker to maintain the intoxication acquired the previous night.

We're headed to my friend's beach house for Labor Day weekend. I think I'll just pitch a drunk for the whole trip.
