Software that seems to need to install an update before it will run every time you open it. (From the berm you have to shovel to get out of your driveway if you live in a place with lots of snowfall and the plows 'berm you in.')

Every time I need to update one of my Adobe Creative Cloud apps I need to wait for their awful bermware to update itself.
