all of the people on here who are saying that preppy is a lifestyle are obviously preppy people who are tired of being made fun of. Preppy means that you wear expensive name brands and like really girly stuff like make-up boots tote bags coffee cheerleading and being a stuck up bitch for no appearant reason. And yes preppy people are rich (welll-off means the same fucking thing)

Recipe from Hell. Refers to any concoction or mixture of two or more substances (a home-made remedy, restaurant offering, bartender creation, etc) that almost nobody can stand; this unappealing product can seem even more repulsive if there are one or two weirdos who actually enjoy or support the existence of the horrid cocktail.

I don't know how that bewhiskered snake-oil hippie is actually still selling all of that Preparation H he's hawking --- I'd have to be insane to even take a whiff of that disgusting goo!

preppy-scene kid

A kid that wears clothes that are skater clothes such as volcom, element, hurley, DC shoe co., billabong, roxy, etc. They also wear preppy clothes only american eagle. The girls wear hoodys alot with tank tops under them, tee shirts, with only long tight blue jeans. Guyz wear hoodys with t-shirts under, just t-shirts, blue jeans only. The girls do not wear skirts. They are nice when people are nice to them and if your mean to them they will be mean back. They are kinda hard to get along with. The girls are tomboys. The guyz are skaters. They like the bands Hollywood Undead, Hawthorne Heights, Panic! at the disco, rap music, metal, punk, anyting popular except pop, country and all that techno shit and shit like that. Their favorite food place is mcdonalds. They have myspace. They hate rednecks and races. Some girls wear make-up and some dont, they dont over do it. They dont cut their selves. The girls wear their hair down all the time. They get highlights in their hair, no weird colors though they keep it normal colors. The girl straighten their hair. The guyz have skater hair. They hate goths. They are different from preppy kids and scene because they are both of those mixed.

Preppy-scene kids are deep.

Preppy

It is indeed a lifestyle, it has taken me all over! This is my point of view, It might be difference than the American because I live in Europe, the Netherlands Amsterdam.

People will know you by their first inpressions, so clothing is very important! You should wear cloths what are dark coloured (red, green, dark blue) but have a very good. Cloths should compare with the time of year. Do not wear a lot of white things when you are very blonde. Do not wear a lot of Polos in the winter but a lovely pullover. Marks like Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger are very populair here. Most teenagers do not know Abercrombie and Fitch so almost nobody wears them here. The teenagers wear Riverwoods and Diesel jeans, they are very preppy! European marks like Armani, Gucci, Versace are really too expansive and not for a preppy guys and girls.

Playing sports here is not included in school, we have P.E but when you play a real sport you play it in a independed club. Field hockey is one of the most populair sport in my part of Europe.

I have been twice in America, the difference is you can drive a car at the age of 16. Here it is 18, but we are allowed to go out and drink alchohol at 16! Never drink to much because it is not cool for your own health and most people don't like it.

Be social, always get with as much as posible people well. Learn acting so you get what you want! Think about the time when you are with you own friends, when do don't just pretent that you like the nerds or losers.

2. A groupd of people that are better then everyone else, when they're the only ones in a room.
