A deliberate change of sleep pattern with the intention to shift one's peak energy level toward nocturnal activities. Experienced especially after several consecutive nights of drinking and dancing. Etymological origin are the words "jet lag" and to go "clubbing".
Three days after school started I still had difficulties getting up early in the morning because I was still suffering from a severe club lag.

Lighter Lag 

the act of failing to pass the lighter with the pipe or bong after taking a hit, causing the rest of the participants in the rotation to wait for their hit.
Brett has a tendency to pocket everyone's lighters, so make sure you stay on top of him so there isn't any Lighter Lag.

While playing a mmorpg and trying to control a hill or high ground for strategic advantage, the game lags and you are taken out by a head shot and or energy sword.
God damn you Leroy and your hill lag.
