Klance is canon king!
But in the show these two literally rarely get along. It isn't until season 3 they get some development as leader and right hand man, and then Voltron completely throws that out the door for 3 seasons, clearly indicating that there is no romantic relationship between Keith and Lance, cause' then in seasons 6 and 7 they barely interact. These two have only ever grown to be friends and that's it. Season 7 literally implied that Keith is not gay, and the show has shown no indication at ALL that Lance is bi. So, these two are literally never meant to be anything other than hot headed friends.
