The plot is simply a mashup of Aristoxenus' "Damon and Pythias", numerous of Aesop's Fables, and various regional familiarities, to give each yarn a local flavor. It has been rumored that the 1994 movie "Dumb and Dumber" was loosely written as a Pinto and Rufus tale.

Once an individual reaches the age of 50, one shart is added to their yearly limit(3 total sharts). Once this individual hits 70 they awarded unlimited sharts. If said person exceeds the shart limit they are then subject to slander. If said individual does not reach the quota, there are no rollover sharts.
