A derogatory term for persons of Hispanic descent. It originated from the Delaware Department of Transportation Diversity Spotlight newsletter.

It is never ever acceptable to refer to a
Hispanic/Latino co-worker as a “spic”
“wetback” or “hot footer.” This is
derogatory.
