Hetty

Derived from Hetty Wainthropp, a retired working-class woman who has a knack for jumping to conclusions. A 'Hetty' is finding an obscure, tentative and often completely ridiculous reasoning to an event that has taken place.

Jimmy: Oh no! The whole computer network has gone down and I was on for a high score in bubbles. How has this happened??

Caz: Well I saw Tommy eating a sandwich earlier which we all know he never normally does, he's a wheat crunchies man. He must be responsible for this.

Hetty

The act of a girl vanishing early from a party for no apparent reason.

Typically done without anybody's knowledge.

Usually signalled by a quick glance at a watch/clock. Often coupled with a look of complete disinterest.

The 'Kaiser Soze' is the male version of this act.

Hector

A Hector is any extremely hirsute person, typically of very swarthy skin tone. Hectors are commonly found in tropical areas, but are quite far-ranging. In more temperate areas with lesser amounts of sunshine, Hectors are known to absorb available sunlight, lessening the amounts available to others. This absorption of sunlight often causes them to sweat profusely, sometimes resulting in an unpleasant odour. See Hector smells.

Will somebody please get that nasty Hector off the beach, he's frightening the tourists.
