Grumpfl was initiated by the little known Haitan America's Cup syndicate in their epic 1988 challangers bid for the cup which they lost in dramatic fashion when their composite yacht aptly named "Lashed Tires" was disqualified for not measuring in after a Goodyear Road Master tread failed.

Skeeter missed grumpfl and is on super restricted curfew for the Farr 40 pre worlds.
