True Emo

Indie Rock or even some Alternative Rock that focuses on more melodic and a less chaotic style. Not to be associated, confused or perpetuate the Emo fashion style/stereotype that has appeared with the mid 2000's influx of perceived emo bands such as My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, AFI and Panic! at the Disco. True Emo would also be considered as First or Second Wave Emo.

True Story

Definition 1: True story, has become a phrase of agreement or acknowledgment akin to the phrase 'true that/dat.'

Definition 2: To express an almost disinterest in what someone has said, by simply affirming they have said it. Common synonyms are: cool, gotcha, uh-huh, true that, etc.

Definition 3: It can be used to try to affirm your own statement.

Example 1:
'Obama is doing a pretty good job in the White House so far, don't you think?'
'True story.'

Example 2:

'I just ate an entire pie!'
'True story.'

Example 3:
'I just ate dinner with Britney and she gave me head in the parking lot! True story!'

true love is the feeling in your heart when you wake up and find her next to you. it's the feeling you get when she tells you she wants to have your kids. its when you cut your friend off in mid sentence because she is calling you. its what you feel when she's in your arms. true love knows no boundaries. true love is not being told your loved, its looking in her eyes and seeing that your loved. true love is something you would never give up even with a gun to your head.

A resort to a colloquilaism as a way of acknowledging someone's point in web conversation in a friendly way. This avoids the ambiguous emotions of simply "True", which can seem perfunctory or snide without hearing the tone of voice of the speaker.
