Friend : "Dude what happened to your face?"
Me : "I dropped my plate yesterday and my mom gave me la chancla."

La Salle College Preparatory
La Salle is a high school in Pasadena/ Sierra Madre. Once known for its drugs and party animals it is now changed into a strict private were learning is the primary goal. Although there are still stoners on campus it is now more family-friendly. Sports used to be bad but their athletics programs are now top-notch. Honestly, it's a good school to go to. it's just expensive.

The most deadliest weapon known to Latin/Hispanic kind; The Mexican/Brazilian instrument of DEATH used by Latin/Hispanic Moms to beat the shii of their own kids if they have had enough of their crap. La Chancla is feared by most Latin and Hispanic children. La Chancla can be a Slipper (which is mainly used for throwing/saucer throws) or a Sandal (which is used for close-ranged combat, usually 3 feet - 5 feet)
