Sega 32X

I've always thought the 32X was a great idea, but ruined by the incredibly mediocre line-up of titles. Most were Mega Drive ports, such as Toughman Contest, Mortal Kombat II and WWF Raw.

Hell, all EA changed in Toughman Contest 32X was their EA Sports logo and a clearer sound effect. They may as well have got some surplus Mega Drive stock and rebadged them as 32X.

It's also quite sad when there's more titles canceled than there were released. The 32X almost had a decent line-up of games. Oh well.

Stellar Assault
Star Wars Arcade
Virtua Racing Deluxe
Virtua Fighter
T-Mek

These are pretty much the only games that shown what the 32X was capable of at the time. The rest of it's library consists of ports of existing Mega Drive titles that bear little to no change.

SEGA thumbs

A disease caused by playing Sonic Spinball on the Sega MegaDrive for 57 hours straight. Known to lead to cripplingly premature arthritis.

SEGA Dreamcast

Very good hunk of plastic

sony roolz seems to have some sort of metal handicap, misspelling everything from graphics to dreamcast, showing the typical IQ of those who enjoy playstation 2; and by the way, how can one make fun of an original name like dreamcast, when the hunk of plastic in his or her possesion has a gem of a name like playstation, which also demonstrates the typical IQ of the marketing people in Sony.

Unofficially synonymous with "SEGA Genesis," possibly because of SEGA of America's renaming to Genesis from the Megadrive, possibly to promote Sega in America better...or something.

Random Friend/Acquaintance: "Hells yea Sonic's the man; I played that all the time on SEGA"

Me: "Schwaa?! SEGA what?"

Random Friend/Acquaintance: "Y'know, SEGA..."

Me: "Genesis? Saturn? Throw me a bone here."

Random Friend/Acquaintance: "The hell's a Saturn? Is that new?"

Sure enough we get to their house and lo and behold--a Genesis.....

segregation

Procedure taken when it is easier to break people off into autonomous groups rather than attempt any sort of compromise, understand, or advancement of society. Often politically advantageous due to appealing to small minds, and exaggerates all previous issues that led to the segregation in the first place.

People of different colours are rape and pillage our towns and detroy our moral culture, so we should use segregation to keep them away from us. Note the idiocy of such a claim

Segwad

Someone who overuses the word segue or a nerdy type who thinks they are cool while riding a segway.

Steve Truit on KCBS 2 Los Angeles weekend news, is a real segwad when referring to the news anchor's "brilliant" segues from topic to topic.
