Black name

A 'Black name' refers to any name that appears to be stereotypical of the African-American ethnic group. Often, these names have word endings such as 'iqua', 'quiesha' or may be reflective of a something considered luxurious, such as "Mac Benz".

Namaste

an ancient Sanskrit greeting still in everyday use in India and especially on the trail in the Nepal Himalaya. Translated roughly, it means "I bow to the God within you", or "The Spirit within me salutes the Spirit in you" - a knowing that we are all made from the same One Divine Consciousness.

The more formal greeting Sanskrit Namascar pronounced NAH-mah-scar is also used in India, though less frequently in Nepal. The Hindi "Jai Bhagwan" is also in common use, and carries the same meaning.

Calling a character from one show by the name of a character in a different show that the actor/actress played.

As in "Did you see Captain Kirk in $#*! My Dad Says?"

Or "Hey what is Crixus (from Spartacus) doing on the island in Arrow?"

Or "Wow, Sylar is on American Horror Story." "Damn it, stop namecasting already! The actor's name is... um, Spock I think."
