CGS

Championship Gaming Series was an international electronic sports league based in the United States of America, though it had expanded to every continent except Antarctica for Season Two before being abruptly discontinued in 2008.

The league was founded in 2007 and is owned and operated by DirecTV in association with British Sky Broadcasting and STAR TV (Asia).

The best gamers across many different titles competed with salaries similar to a professional sport such as NBA or MLB.

Each gamer was skilled to their particular game.

The games consisted of Counter-Strike: Source, Fifa, Dead or Alive, and Forza 2.
