I occasionally read High Times in high school and my first years at college, since this dude I hung out with had a roommate who subscribed to it.

timeskip

An intentional gap in time used to advance a story without filler material. It is commonly used in film, novels, television and video games, to mark the passage without the intervening events being explained in any great detail, or merely in passing.

Timeskips can be as short as a few hours or bridge entire years' worth of happenings. It can also work in retrograde, though this is not as common.
Go watch a movie. Any time the screen wipes from a daytime scene to a nighttime scene in the same area counts as a timeskip.

Alt-timers disease

Taken from the word Alzheimer's disease and deliberately sounding very close to it as a joke .See alt which this definition I am using it for is when a player has more then one character on a MMORPG.

We use it to tease players that make to many characters in MMORPGS like World of Warcraft, Everquest, etc.
Hey man you know you will never get to the max level in this game if you play that many characters....

"I know man I love all these choices in this game...."

Times of India

A communist rag that passes itself off as the mouthpiece of an allegedly democratic country.
Their writings typically challenge the soverign power of other counties without the opportunity for rebuttal. Propoganda is a mild word compared to the yellow journalism they are known for thoughout the world.
The touble is, that without the Internet and the value that it avails without substance, credibility or the test of time honoured history this rag has little credibilty. Even so, it is heralded as the voice of a people not far removed from anarchy and cared for still by other nations. A cry from a child who does not yet even understand why it is crying, but imposing itself as the savior of the millenium.
I read in the Times of India, how they are so much smarter than us, it's a pity we didn't happen upon them while we were yet still ameoba; turbans and all, they seemed to possess the power to lift us out of the ooze while still being fed and nurtured by those nations that they now declare they saved.
