I gave Adam his first beer for the night and he just held it and sipped at it, before sneakily putting down the bottle half empty. He is such a GOLDEN SIPPER.

Get the noodle sippermug. Someone who doesn't finish their alcohol before they open a new can/bottle and then doesn't admit that the unfinished drinks are theirs. This results in numerous half-full drinks left lying around.
