Bas relief

Sometimes hyphenated. Also known as low relief. A sculptural relief that projects from the background only slightly. Difficult to distinguish from full relief sculptures from a certain angle.

Donatello and his famous high and bas relief of the Pulpit of Saint Lorenz and the works of della Robbia cousins as the chorister by Luca della Robbia are very famous all over the world.

A Christian band that enjoys writing both insightful ballads as well as completely random yet surprisingly catchy pop songs. A high emphasis on puns. Lead vocalist Thiessen has an amazing voice and has cranked out some amazing songs like "I am Understood?" and "Be My Escape".

Recently, they've begun to swing into the more alternative crowd. Songs like "Which to Bury, Us or the Hatchet" seem to show a side of Relient K that the screamo and punk groups enjoy.

1. a character in a story that brings a light comic air into the work. Just as a hero brings heroism. The comic Relief usually does some halirious or haliriously stupid quip (stupid as in the example below)

Spicey Rollie

A spicey rollie is a term coined by a student in Stellenbosch in 2017 whereby tobacco is used to roll a cigarette after which sprinkles of marijuana are placed into the rollie to create the perfect blend of a high head rush. The ratio depends on you. Pairs well with a rave.

Paige: Sjoewee! This Spicey Rollie is spicier than I expected.

Jacques: Head rush man! I rolled that spicey rollie with too much tobacco.
