Problematic

Gay, or at the very least bi, but in a closeted environment where you can’t just be like “I’m gay” so you say “I’m Problematic” instead and your other problematic friend just nods and is like “same”
God, Dylan has got me so problematic. Why does he have to look so freaking hot all the time. I’m problematic.”

Problematic

A person that likes to judge and rant at everything that breathes. Usually that person is extremely ungrateful and likes to pick on their friends in a sarcastic way to make themselves feel better.
She’s so problematic and ungreatfull that she laughed at me instead of thanking me.

Problematic

1. To voice, act upon, or generally be the essence of, an opinion that is offensive, discriminatory, repressive, divisive, and/or in opposition to the status quo (known for use in progressive politics).
2. To cause conflict in a social setting.
3. Can be used as a full sentence to display something that fits def. 1 to such an obvious extent that it shouldn't need to be explained.
1.
When talking about politics in 2020:
"This election is extremely problematic. I don't know what I'm going to do."

2.
After spilling tea you knew you shouldn't spill: "Omg, I'm so problematic"

3. Scrolling through twitter and you read "..look I'm not saying assault is a bad thing...'

problematic

Something (real or fictional) that contradicts the political narrative you are trying to push, especially if your narrative would be considered by many to be radically progressive.
It is often used to describe fictional stories with positive heterosexual romances, functional traditional families, religion as a positive role in people's lives, characters happy to occupy traditional gender roles, children being raised by both their biological parents with no adopted siblings, etc.
"I find it problematic that the the parents in that story assumed their baby was a boy just because they were born with a penis."

Problematic

Used to describe a creative work (book, play or, most often, motion picture) once popular with many people but now considered offensive or insulting by one or more groups to which YOU do not belong. (Trying to be tactful, YOU may call it problematic. The people who are actually offended have other names for it, which cannot be used in a family publication!)
I used to love watching "Gone with the Wind". They used to show it on TV every year, but now they never show it anymore. I think they say it's ... problematic? I dunno - no one ever used to mind."

"Dude, it's it's highly offensive to black people - and northerners - and anyone who doesn't believe in slavery. And it always was. But the white guys in charge made money, and didn't listen to anyone who objected until they were forced to!
