Jefe Treatment

When a latino greets a white guy with an over the top smile and wave but actually dislikes him. Similar to "shuck and jive."

After this many years of coming to this bodega, you'd think they'd see me as a regular and stop giving me the Jefe treatment.

Jefe is a word you say when your showing respect to someone older which mean boss in Spanish.

“No it’s okay boss” translates too “no pasa nada jefe”

Like a boss, or "fancily comfortable". Jefe means boss in spanish, this refers to something that is only allowed to bosses.
