A small liberal arts residential campus located in Mt Vernon, IA. Known for operating with the One-Course-at-a-Time schedule, where, oddly enough, one only takes one class at a time.

Cornell Spelling Bee

This is a term coined by Demarcus Cousins refering to the David versus Goliath match up of Kentucky and Cornell, or as it was coined by The Boston Globe as the Smart kids versus Dumb Kids.

The reporter asked Demarcus Cousins "Have you heard of that they are calling this game the Smart Kids vs. The Dumb kids?" He replied with "This ain't a Cornell Spelling Bee, this is basketball."

In the poker community, to "Cornell Fiji" is to borrow money with no intention of ever paying it back, or to offer to swap online cash for real cash, then renege on your end of the agreement. This is what Cornell Fiji (real name Steven Ware) did to Admo during the World Series of Poker 2008.

Cornwall

Quite possibly the greatest place on the planet, this is reflected by British Tourist industry figures. More people from the UK go to Cornwall on holiday then fly abroad. Problem is, we don't want you here. We live in a beautiful place far far away from the North East or any crime-rife cities and we, the Cornish people would like to keep it that way.

Nothing pisses me off more than not being able to surf because of the sheer volume of pastey-white bodies on the beach and in the water. Really, stay at home this summer, we'll like you a lot more for it.
