SecuROM

1) SecuROM is a CD/DVD copyright protection program installed with computer games, sometimes without the knowledge of the consumer, that acts a lot like malware. The idea behind SecuROM is to prevent pirating games, but, instead, it may limit a legitimate buyer's computer by automatically treating them as a criminal.

The extent of what SecuROM can do is up to the game publisher. BioShock was one of the first games to ship with SecuROM in which people were limited to "activating" the game three times before needing to call a toll tech support phone line to ask to be given another activation. A strike towards an activation could've been anything from reinstalling the game to downloading Windows updates.

2) To limit something beyond comprehension for no good reason at the expense of others.
Example 1): The following games ship with SecuROM: Armored Assault, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Neverwinter Nights 2, Command & Conquer 3, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Overlord, BioShock, Hellgate: London, Rayman Raving Rabbids, World in Conflict, Spore Creature Creator, and Spore.

Example 2):

Dude 1: My school SecuROMed my prom because they were worried about people acting out of their order.

Dude 2: The server master SecuROMed his site when he added a download limit per day.

Security Age

The modern era, in which people in a variety of settings are given extra scrutiny to determine if they are truthful about their identity and their rights which they assert, the world has increased amounts of monitoring, and big brother has an overall more watchful eye.

Unofficially, the Security Age began on September 11, 2001.
Everyone is considered suspicious until proven not a terrorist in the Security Age.

Many things that were easy before the Security Age began are now a hassle.

During the Security Age, only ticketed passengers are allowed passed security checkpoints at the airport.

You go to a dry cleaner during the Security Age wanting to retrieve your clothes you dropped off, and the attendant says "ID please."

Private Security Contractors

Men, mainly former special operations operators, who are hired to perform duties pertaining to personal security for government priority personnel. These teams are often referred to as WPPS/PSD, although there are other types of specialized security being performed throughout the world. They are largely recruited from SEAL teams, Delta (CAG), the 75th Ranger Regiment, Special Forces, and Marine Force Recon. These men are hired for the training and experiences they obtained during their enlistments in special operations. They are then "vetted" by a company after attending a qualification course and deployed to protect whatever Charlie Brown looking motherfucker are told to. They are in return paid a respectable salary.
Regular military personnel are also often hired to perform lower tiered contracts, for lesser pay. IE: Static security, guard gates, admin. support, etc.
Many special operation's personnel are leaving the military in order to earn the six figure salaries that are being offered to Private Security Contractors.

Women may often run into men claiming they're Private Security Contractors. If they merely ask what special operations unit he served in while in the military they will often find out the men are sometimes full off shit gate guards, exaggerating, and riding the dicks of the real contractors and soldiers. She should immediately spit in these men's faces, then go fuck an Army Ranger.... well.

Private Security Contractors live by the motto: "Work hard, stay hard, play hard."
