Quongle

After several years, you've enjoyed a TV programme with a nice definitive theme tune you can happily hum along to. Then, suddenly a producer has that tune revamped. They add a few guitars and jingles and ruin a perfectly good tune, and in turn the TV programme loses its appeal.

It's a Quongle. They have Quongled the tune and everything has lost its appeal.

I used to love that show, but they Quongled the tune and now I don't watch it anymore.
