"I heard a story on NPR about how people refer to stories on NPR in order to sound intelligent and well-radioed," Tom said, NPRetentiously.

NPRAOD

Naked people running around on drugs. Referenced in an article on Burning Man, but applicable to a variety of gatherings, such as music festivals.
For every NPRAOD, I'd guess there are two people wishing they had the courage to do so.

npr2d2

One who listens to Public Radio exclusively and unquestioningly, then has an irresistible compulsion to repeat whatever they just heard on it to co-workers, friends, family, acquaintances, strangers, etc.
John in Human Resources is a total NPR2D2! Every time I run into him in the break room, he has to quote from "All Things Considered," "Fresh Air," or "Prairie Home Companion." He never listens to anything else!

NPRitis

Where an interviewer on NPR refuses to ask hard questions to a guest, particularly when they are more conservative.
Terry Gross's interview of <insert congressperson> shows she's got an open case of NPRitis.
