Thanks Morrissey

Phrase to be used when someone delivers bad news in an otherwise pleasant conversation or time. It comes from the idea that Morrissey (solo artist and frontman of The Smiths) wrote depressing lyrics which were then often juxtaposed with quite upbeat or happy music. For example the song "Girlfriend in a Coma" or the chorus lyrics to "There is a Light that never comes out"

Dave - "My wife is pregnant, I'm going to be a father!"

Sally - "That's awesome, congratulations Dave!"

Steve - "The baby might be born with a disability"

Dave - "Oh thanks Morrissey!"

He is also a vegetarian, and a native of the UK, who current makes his home in Los Angeles.

'rigged' as a full-sentence expression

invented by Alyssa Edwards on the show RuPaul's Drag Race AllStars 2 Episode 4 as it sounds similar to 'rigged'

misspelling from Latin 'rigor mortis' (= 'stiffness of death', 'postmortem rigidity') which refers to the limbs stiffening after a few hours of a body which passed away

"If y'all send me home: 'It was rigged!' Rigga morris, gurl, rigga morris gurl!"

A: "What do you think about (PERSON)'s elimination from the competition?"
B: "Rigga morris, (PERSON) was robbed!"

Morrisville

a village in upstate new york that consists of one street and a college. people who go there do nothing but drink, do drugs, and jaywalk because hey, its one street. there are outragously more police here then needed, and parties are awesome considering its the only thing to do anyway. there are two bars, and two gas stations. drive up the road 2 mins and your in another village prolly not to different from the one you came from. everyone drinks keystone light like its their job, and eats pizza.
