MMORPG

An online internet gaming activity for those that find no interest in sports. MMORPG's require that much time is spent in front of the computer in an effort to improve their online character(s). Players as such are often labelled as "losers" and as "having no life" by their friends and aquaintances with more social interest.

"What did you do this weekend?"
"Oh, you know...just hung out at home, playing Guild Wars with a few friends."
"Wow...that sounds really boring and dumb. You should get a life."
"...what did you do?"
"It was awesome, man. We went to the bar and Pete got totally wasted and ended up puking all over Jeff's girlfriend. I don't even remember what happened to me after that..."
"I see..."
"Yeah, so like I said, get a life."

A phrase used mainly by gamers, meaning real life. "The 'other' MU*" is a variant of this.

A: "Where were you last night? Me and Rannock were orc-slaying!"
B: "Sorry, I was away playing the other MMORPG."

MMORPG Slang or Lingo are words, abbreviations, and acronyms used in Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games to make speech easier, or sometimes just for fun.

MMORPG's such as World of Warcraft use this slang.

Examples-
Twink: A character with better than average/ the best gear for their level and class.
FTW/FTL: For The Win/For The Lose
Pwn: a.k.a. Own
Leet: Elite

Also called "gamer speak" and sometimes incorporates l33t speak

World of Warcraft
Person 1: HORDE FTW!
Person 2: We're gonna Pwn their asses!

Person 1: Dude, Did you see that twink with the epic staff?
Person 2: Yar, he's leet. He was epixed out! = /

Person 1: Dude, horde ftw, that was epic leet when that dr00d pwnd the l33t mob; and my buffs worked a treat.
