On Facebook, when you receive a request from someone who you see has several mutual friends, but you know that you have never met them and don't really want to accept their friend request, but you do anyway to avoid looking like an asshole/bitch, this is considered a courtesy accept.
I had to courtesy accept her friend request so I wouldn't look like a dick. She's friends with Tina, so I don't want her to tell Tina I'm a dick, I can't be havin that shizz yo.

Heard in Sons Of Anarchy. Means I can relate to or I can understand that. Also: I might not get it but it is fine by me; you are insulting me but I deserve it so it's ok.

When people recognize that autism and disability are a part of the human diversity. When people understand that autistics are no different than everyone else. When people find support groups and accommodations that help autistics become the best people they can be. When people are OK with working with autistics instead of trying to "cure" them. When people understand that they need to have patience when interacting with autistics. When people celebrate and are proud of who autistics are.
Autism Acceptance centers the voices of autistics. It celebrates the autistic culture, and tells people that autistics are valuable to families, communities, and to the entire world exactly as they are EVERY SINGLE DAY (not just on the month of April). Autism Acceptance is when people create a better, more fair, and more inclusive world for everyone (with and without autism).

I appreciate it when people support Autism Acceptance because it shows that they truly respect and care about those who have autism, like me.
When people understand that I don't need a cure for autism because they accept who I am as a person, not only does it make everyone's lives better and easier, but it makes the world a much better place.
