it is a state of mind you develop during your GRE preparation, when you are very confident about the meaning of a word which in reality is remotely related to the actual meaning.. :P

Craft syndrome

Can't Remember A Fucking Thing syndrome.
usually happens more frequently the older you get.
happens in an instant, you are about to do something and all of a sudden you don't know what?

I went in to the kitchen to make dinner, and CRAFT Syndrome bites couldn't remember why, only just walked in to the room. left feeling confused.
Made a phone call when the person answered! Craft syndrome strikes again!!! cant remember why I called.

Target Syndrome

The phenomenon that occurs when a person walks into target knowing what to buy and leaves spending a lot more money and buying more things than expected.

I went to target to pick up a dish rack and some paper towels. I walked out with a dish rack, paper towels, sheets, comforter, barbecue grill, and a shredder. Looks like I have target syndrome.

Mafia Syndrome

A condition characterized by an overwhelming sense of paranoia at having one's back exposed or unprotected; The person who sits in the back of the class, or the back of the restaurant, or in the corner, like a real creeper, who is afraid of spontaneous back stabbings by strangers or hit men; So named because of the old days where mafia members never sat at a place in a restaurant where they could be attacked or caught unawares by someone coming in the front door. It has since carried over to the modern day, where it isn't really necessary, (unless you live in a third world country or maybe Iraq or North Korea) but somehow still affects people in all walks of life.

Waitress: "Sir, will this table be alright?"

Creeper: "No... no, let me have that booth that's in the corner...and turn out the light over the table please. I normally eat in the dark."

moebius syndrome

A rare disorder caused when cranial nerves are absent or not fully developed. The symptoms of the disorder includes the lack of facial expression, absence of lateral eye movement, speech difficulties, hearing problems, feeding and swallowing problems, and physical problems in other parts of the body. People with this disorder cannot smile, frown, or blink, thus remaining expressionless as if wearing a mask.

Parents of a child born with Moebius syndrome may see that the child’s face does not move when he or she cries.

fretchy syndrome

(noun) The after-effect when one plays Guitar Hero for a prolonged period of time, the result of which is that for a few minutes after playing stops, everything seen appears to strech vertically outward. This is most likely caused by long hours staring at the fret board onscreen needed to see which notes to play.

After Trogdor-Cat and Bob pulled an all-nighter playing Guitar Hero II against each other, they both experienced severe attacks of fretchy syndrome.

Dick Syndrome

When a close female friend of yours gets a boyfriend and you never hear from them. You are lucky to get a hello. With this dick in the vicinity they start acting like one, like they are permanently attached to it. They cancel plans for it or ignore you. As soon as that relationship does not work they are once again your friend looking for the next one.

" I never hear from Lisa anymore, she has changed since she met Todd. We used to spend lots of time together but now she prefers the company of his penis".

" Jenny and I used to spend a lot of time together, now she constantly cancels for reasons related to the boyfriend. Although she never blames it on that. Just crap that makes no sense. This is case of dick syndrome where his penis is a mind control machine".
