hacker

A term broadly used to describe hardware and software research and development, and modification. "To hack" essentially means "to plow," and refers to assembling and modifying computer systems and programs. Programmers with high technical capabilities are given the honorary title of hacker.
The word can also refer to invading another person's computer, but the correct term is "cracking." Programmers who are adept at cracking refer to themselves as hackers. As a result, hacking is often taken to mean a criminal act.

Person 1 : Hi, I'm a hacker!
Person 2 : OMG WTF U STEAL PPLS BANK ACCOUNTZZ???
Person 1 : No you moron, that would be a cracker.

Hack

A hack is a type of person, who in any sport, fouls (aka "hacks") other players incessantly. Hacks are usually slower, less able, and all around worse athletes than the people they play with. Hacks typically deny that they are hacking other players by quoting cliches such as "It's part of the game" or "Football is a physical sport", etc. Hacks also get into fights often, since they are fouling, and thus angering, other players, but denying the act. Hacks are also, ironically, the ones who call the most fouls, especially if you push/hack them back.

Person 1:"Man, every time I try to cut, he grabs my arm!"
Hack: "It’s a part of the game, football is a physical game you retard!"

::next play::

Hack: Man why did you push me! That’s a foul!"
Person 1: "You've been pushing and grabbing me all day! I don't want to hear that shit!"

A fight ensues.

to have one's personal information compromised over the internet. this can include passwords, contact information, and even cred card numbers.

1. Alec had his Facebook account hacked, and now he's posting spam all over my wall.

2. Damn it! Some hacker just took my bank information. My credit score is screwed!
