Roller hockey (or inline hockey) is the purest version of the sport hockey. It is fast paced and more of a controlled game then ice hockey. Roller hockey is played indoors on
specialized tile rinks. Eliminating offsides and icing make the game higher in speed. Roller hockey uses much of the same equipment as ice hockey minus the
shoulder pads (unless you're a bender) and
obviously with different skates. Roller hockey skates have the boot of an ice hockey skate with a lightweight chassis that holds soft wheels.
