lazy dater

Someone who goes on so many dates that he/she becomes lazy about it. Usually in reference to someone who dates via online dating sites. The lazy dater will choose a location close to home, wear the same outfit to each date, tell the same stories, etc.

I’ve been on so many OKCupid dates that I’ve become a lazy dater. If I can listen to the entire long version of “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” on the drive to her house; it’s too far. My Banana Republic pull over sweater is starting to fray and I can’t tell the story of “what I do for a living” anymore. Just set me down in my local bar, buy me a drink and let’s get on with it.

a game that people play to try and go out on a date with someone from every state in the United States. Only one date is needed and it has to be their home state. foreign people are wild cards and can be placed in any state.
