This a when some long winded asshole won't stop telling some stupid story,usually wrapped around his/her self important ass.The tale they tell is dragged on to what seem like an eternity,but to them it's just good shit you are lucky to be hearing.These tall tales are a very common practice at a.a. and n.a. meetings,where as these places give "tools" a soapbox to stand on and preach.

Originally in the aspect of putting Dayton Rims on an old car, the term has grown other aspects.

In all usage, the term is used to describe making something better with a bit of cash flow. Such things are used every day, from tipping a waiter/waitress so one may accquire good service, to putting money into one's computer network to make it better.
