Goober (noun)

A person having obnoxious or irritating behaviour;
A person who takes pleasure in claiming to be a "hacker"
despite the obvious fact that s/he desperately requires
schooling and education; Any person who lacks common sense
and is blissfully unaware of it; A person unwilling to read
any documentation before attempting to run a software.
Goobers are also known to be excessively talkative.

The company of goobers is worse than no company at all.

Goober

A man of basic attractiveness, that has very little or no talent whatsoever. Is usually in the military, and seems to get the most attractive women for no apparent reason at all.
A Goober has a very low view of individuality, and usually doesn't seem very educated at all.

Person 1: "Damn, do you see that chick over there with the goober?"
Person 2: "She's gorgeous, man I feel sorry for her."
