Happy Thursday 

The term for a wonderful day of the week called Thursday. The reason Thursdays are so "happy" is because it is almost the end of the week and people are looking forward to friday so much they are forgetting the wonderful day they are living in. To say Happy Thursday reminds people what a great day it is and is a way to make the world a happier and more positive place. Saying "Happy Thursday" was made famous at St Vincents College Potts Point in Australia after a year 12 student in 2013 decided to make it a tradition in her year group to make every Thursday "happy". This was a huge success with the school captains addressing the school with "Happy Thursday" every assembly which was held on thursdays.

"Happy Thursday" can be used as a greating. For Example instead of saying "good morning" one could say "Happy Thursday!"
However, this may ONLY be used on thursdays... otherwise you look like a dickhead.

When you don't have any alcohol on a Thursday night to celebrate Thirsty Thursday, but you have weed. So instead you just smoke a ton.

tornado thursday

Tornado Thursday is when multiple friends like and comment on every post in a social network to annoy a single user with mass amounts of notifications at one time.

3 friends: On Tornado Thursday, Nick, Duane and Billy like and comment using the hash tag #TornadoThursday on a friend named Josh Maint's wall. Josh Maint then gets hit with a ton of notifications and his posts show up in other people's news feed again (commonly known as a bump).

Note: Bonus points if you like all the old comments in the post as you effectively hit every user who has commented on said users posts in the past.

Red Thursday 

The approximate day, each year, when health insurance deductibles have been met, and patients can get medical treatment for drastically less out of pocket expenses. During this time of year, hospitals see a large increase in business, as surgeries, mri's and other large medical procedures are then scheduled as more patients meet their deductible. On Red Thursday, the blood begins to flow as the surgeons begin to cut. It derives from the term Black Friday, but in a medical context.

That ER visit met my deductible so today is my Red Thursday. I'm going to get that MRI I've been putting off, those injections in my knee, these moles removed, and that surgery to fix that disk in my back.
