To honor the 25th Anniversary (1984-2009) of the basketball & hip-hop culture fusion era born in 1984 (The "Dunkadelic-Era" In America) June 2009 has been selected as the 1st National Basketball & Hip-Hop Culture Month.

The NBA Finals, NBA Draft, and the start of the WNBA season all occur during National Basketball & Hip-Hop Culture Month (June).

bonus month

The month when you receive 5 weekly paychecks instead of 4. Since you are usually accounting for 4 paychecks in a month, though every three months has 13 weeks in it, you essentially receive a bonus every time you get a 5th paycheck in a month.
