Verb - The act of luring the opposite sex into an intimate encounter using deception. Often this is done by acting as if one has significant emotional feelings in order to capture the prey. The act may not be intentional - the predator often tricks his or herself into believing that they have legitimate emotional feelings for the prey in order to justify his or her morally repugnant behaviour.
