currently as of 8/17/22, Ethereum has postponed the transition from proof of work to proof of stake so many times, it is reasonable to assume it will not occur. worst case scenario is transition from proof of work to proof of stake transition takes place. then $200 billion loss occurs divided in the following groups, Ethereum holders ( due to instant crash), and less to miners because there is always etc mining
