Angie claimed that she blew out her hamstring and in reality, she blew out her hamknees. Pain was in the hamstring area, but just like cankles, the hamstring and the knees were connected, intertwined as one. So she had surgery to repair her acl and her mcl.

Shortened version of 'hang on a minute' without actually confirming any time-scale at all.

Usually muttered when the person is busy on a computer / game console and is most often uttered without breaking eye contact with the screen or lifting of the head.

In many cases, the parent may give up waiting and carry out the task themselves which may result in serious repercussions so should be used fairly sparingly.

Mum "Tea's ready!" Son "Haminit"

Mum "Could you give me a hand unpacking the shopping?"
Son "Haminit"
Mum "Ok, I'll get the chilled stuff into the fridge so that it doesn't exceed its sell by date"

hamdunker

A word that, when one is described as it, implies that one places their hand (containing some form of ham, pork, or other pig-like meat) into a bucket/barrel/trough/well/container of water.

Not to be confused with Dunk Hammer, the famous basketball player residing in the Congo, Bongo Condo.

Person 1 : "yeah so take it you hamdunker"
Person 2 : "what's a hamdunker?"
Person 1 : "you dunk ham"

Person 3 : "Man, That guy sure was a hamdunker."
