Widely used in MMORPG Games (Mass Multi-player Online Role-playing Game). It's used to define a game channel which PK (Player Kill) is prohibited and therefore players can play in peace without unreasonable interferences from other players. The word "Carebear" is used because the players playing in those channels are deemed by other players to be cowards and wanted to be protected rather than facing the harsh world of reality where there's bound to be PK.
If you do not want to be PKed for no reasons by some lunatics, especially the mapletards, please switch your game channel to the Carebear Channel.

Get the Carebear Channel mug.The old little kids' channel with shows like Maisy and (I think) Oswald. Its mascots were Moose A. Moose (a moose, of course) and Zee ( I think the full name was Zee D. Bird; a blue bird with a little pink flower in her "hair"). It always turned off at 6:30 or 7 P.M. and had a message basically saying that they were done for the day and that they'd be back the next day. I think Moose and Zee always sang a goodbye song at the end, but I'm not sure. Gee, I miss it. Like, a flipping lot.
The Noggin channel was a kids' channel that was bought by Nick Jr. Nick Jr. was the channel that had an adorable show called 64 Zoo Lane, but I don't know if they still have it. I hope they do. Anyway, Nick Jr. bought Noggin and I HATE that. Sorry, I'll stop ranting.

Get the back-up channel mug.Disney Channel used to be a very good channel before 2006. Later on, Hannah Montana started and destroyed the whole channel. It ended later somewhere in 2011. Somewhere in the late 2000's, a new show called Wizards of Waverly Place came. That show ended earlier in 2012. Somewhere in 2010, Shake it Up aired and that's when the channel started going downwards.
All they have on Disney Channel is their sluts acting like they care about their fans and the fans go like "OMG! DID YOU JUST HEAR ABOUT CECE JONES'S NEW SONG?!". Actually, this channel doesn't want to show that much commercials of other places. Instead, they mostly use THEIR commercials. All you see is commercials of their upcoming shows, their "This is Me" fillers, and their, um, shitty music videos. This channel has gotten so lazy, they aired a commercial having the year of 2010 in the middle of it. Their sitcoms, I mean decoms, are just movies that are made from the same sluts they use in their shows. Nearly every slut in the channel sings. Even their Shake it Up channels are horrible!! Girls are pretty much copying every single thing they do on Disney Channel. This channel is aimed towards 7-12 year old girls. If you're a boy and you're over 20, shame on YOU. The only reason I watch Disney Channel is because of Phineas and Ferb. That show is awesome.
The bad part is that this channel is filthy rich, so it will stay up for a pretty damn long time.

Usually calls you like crazy just to see what your doing and sometimes just calls just because hes bored.
