A fake person, someone who lies and has a fake identity. Usually seen on almost every social media, including Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat.

Also a fish.

Not naming names, but a real girl on a website is a catfish. She harrasses people into sending nudes so she can sell them, after luring them in after a sweet bit of flirting. She will befriend you, find dirt and scum on you, and if you leave her or give away her secret, she will destroy you and your reputation.
