•Sexual and offensive jokes are exchanged daily. not to mention endless drama over the most pointless shit.
•Relationships last about a week on average and then the horny, attention seeking teenagers find a new prey
• it's just a pit of hell where you learn a lot of life lessons and it changes your perspective on the world.

Get the Middle school mug.McDonogh School is a community that finds joy in work, in play, and in the discovery and realization of personal potential. Strong, mutually respectful relationships among and between students and teachers inspire a passion for learning, a dedication to personal integrity, and a commitment to excellence. Embracing diversity of background, culture, and thought, the school builds upon its founder's original mission to provide a life-altering opportunity to develop in its students the will "to do the greatest possible amount of good."
A coeducational day and boarding college preparatory school, McDonogh currently enrolls 1,293 students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Potential, opportunity, accomplishment. We see promise in every student who walks our halls. "Too good not to be better," as one of our teachers often says. It's our mission in Upper School to challenge students with opportunities to test their strengths, develop their talents, and define their interests. As you explore this Web site, you'll see the examples, and you'll see how our students transform their personal potential into real accomplishments.
But we don't stop there. Teaching students to think, to read, to write, to speak, to question, to compute, to explore and ultimately to become lifelong, independent learners is not enough. We strive also to help them develop a sense of honor and duty to family, school, and community. We look for ways to invest students in the school's honor code and to give it more prominence in school life. We encourage students and their faculty advisors to meet regularly in small groups to discuss the issues of the day, plan projects, and have fun together.
By the time students graduate, they are ready for new adventures and different challenges. This is what Upper School at McDonogh is about--providing each student with that complete education of mind, body, and spirit.
McDonogh's athletic philosophy embraces the multi-sport concept. The reasons: Participation in multiple sports contributes to students' personal well-being and sustains McDonogh's vibrant athletic program. This is why, on average, 90% of Upper School students and 100% of seventh- and eighth-graders play on interscholastic teams.
Tuition (includes bus transportation and hot lunch): Lower School $19,480; Middle School $20,690; Upper School $21,680; Upper School Five-day Boarding, $29,160
