Santa Rosa High School

All around awesome high school famous for its artistically talented students. While many are drawn to SRHS for the ArtQuest program, there are plenty of "normal" students who aren't artistic and don't take any of those specialty classes. It was chartered in 1874. With over 2,000 students, it's the largest school in town.

Outstanding career programs include the agricultural, auto shop, wood shop, metal shop, and CISCO networking classes. There is also a full selection of Honors and AP classes.

SRHS offers many sports throughout the year, and competes in the NBL, NCS Division 1. While the school's recent football winning streak hasn't been too good, the team got a new coach and the future looks bright. Doug Courtemarche has coached state and national cross country/track champions and Olympians during his twenty years at SRHS. Many great athletes started at this school, so don't listen to people who say SRHS is for art and not for sports.

SRHS is the most diverse school in the city, and everyone can find their own niche here. Come join us. Learn the fight song. Start a club. Play a sport. And remember, once a Panther, always a Panther.

Santa Rosa

City of roughly 160,000 people located about 60 mi North of San Francisco. It's got it's really nice areas, but it also has several really ghetto neighborhoods that unless you fell like getting into a fight with mexican gang members, you had better steer clear of. These being namely the Apple Valley Neighborhood, West End (West 9th), and South Park/Roseland. However these areas are only really dangerous at night. O and 90% caucasian, thats bullshit. more like 50% at the most. Most of the rest are mexicans. Also, don't hang out at the transit mall at night. bad idea.
