Thanks to NMH's mandatory student labor and the active farm on campus, early twentieth-century Mount Hermon students were regarded as hicks by their contemporaries, and Deerfield gave them the derogatory nickname "Hoggers." In the 1960s, NMH developed a reputation for hippies and drug use.
NMH has the largest campus of any New England prep school, with ample woodland for students to have sex in, and it also has the most deans of any New England prep school to catch them. NMH also used to have the best prep basketball program in the country, but in 2022, the school dismantled the program. NMH still has the best alpine skiing program in New England and elite soccer, crew, and Ultimate Frisbee teams. Additionally, NMH used to have the best food of any prep school in New England, but obviously no longer does.
Northfield Mount Hermon is, in conclusion, worse than Deerfield, Choate, Loomis, and St. Paul's; but better than any Vermont prep school, Williston, Cushing, the average public school, or a sharp stick in the eye. Students can rest easy at night knowing that three meals will be waiting for them the next day (if they have time to eat them) and that they will probably not be sexually assaulted by a straight male student or teacher.

Get the Northfield Mount Hermon mug.Having been established since the early 1970s, St. Hermione Hospital is owned by the same parent company D5N (Delta Lima November) as Lima November University (which belongs to the same foundation as Lima November High School) since 1989. St. Hermione Hospital is known for its dedicated care, but it has a haunting history, as it was the place where a 17-year-old student from Lima November High School tragically passed away on Tuesday, April 2nd 1991 (coinciding with the fasting month of Ramadan) whilst still wearing school uniform, highlighting the hospital's connection to both life and loss. This duality reflects the poignant stories of those who have been treated there, marking it as a significant landmark in the community.
In my past life, I was a 17-year-old female student from Lima November High School who passed away on Tuesday, April 2nd 1991 during an inpatient care at St. Hermione Hospital — the very same hospital as my birthplace. On that day, I died whilst still wearing school uniform, having insisted on fasting during Ramadan despite suffering from typhus at the time. It was exactly in line with the verdict that my doctor had previously made, right after I had been impressed with the moment when I had met the immortal Lord British in the latest game (at the time) titled "Ultima VI: The False Prophet" (released in 1990, with the in-game year being the same as the game's release date). To me, it embodies a poignant blend of dedication and tragedy—a "perfect" day for someone who left this world far too soon without leaving any digital footprint as the Internet and social media platforms didn’t exist yet at the time. Not to mention that when I died in my past life, I was also too young to have ever been tried as an adult, as one typically has to be 18 to even be tried as an adult (instead of as a juvenile) in the first place.
