Magic Growing Sponge Egg Toy

A small pill made up of a compressed sponge inside a gel pill. When placed in water the casing dissolves, the sponge grows, and all delight! The sponge is often colored and cut into fun shapes, such as animals or dinosaurs.

I bought a pack of magic growing sponge egg toys for my kids, but they ate them all. They've been puking rainbow sponge dinos for hours.

trauma sponge

One whom others naturally and sometimes inexplicably turn to with their problems. They "soak" up the "stains" of their issues, leaving the teller feeling better at having relieved themselves of bearing the burden of their problems alone. Usually an uninvolved party who is considered to have a more objective opinion of the situation.

It happened again! I was at a party talking to this girl and five minutes later she was crying on my shoulder telling me about her parents divorce!

I am such a trauma sponge, all my friends talk to me when they're sad.

Sponsor

In various 12-Step groups, such as AA or NA, a sponsor is someone who has some time in the program and has worked the steps who is willing to be there for newcomer. Sponsors generally help take the newcomer through the steps, are there to listen when a newcomer calls, and encourages the him or her to get involved in the group. Sponsors expect nothing in return except that the sponsee does the same for the next person needing help.

Fred: I've had a really hard day. Wish a beer was around...
Sam: You might wanna think about calling your sponsor first.

Sponsee: Hey John, just wanted to say hey, nothing new here.
Sponsor: Good to hear, see you at a meeting tonight?
Sponsee: Yeah, I'll be there.
Sponsor: Good, you might wanna go ahead and make the coffee.
