gringo

The word "gringo" may have come from the Mexicans hearing the Anglo invaders into Texas singing "Green Grow the Rushes, Oh" around their campfires ad nauseum. Whether the word is derogatory or not seems to depend on how close you are to or how far north you are of the Mexican-American border. "Gringo" is not as neutral in El Paso, Tijuana or East L.A. as it is further south of the border.

Gringo guilt

Gringo guilt is what those of us who know and love the Hispanic people are feeling when we see our government putting men women and children into cages and are citizens of a country that electing a racist president.

I feel gringo guilt when I see how our country is treating documented and undocumented Hispanic immigrants who come here fleeing poverty and violence and are only seeking a safe place for themselves and where their children can have a brighter future.

gingas are people suffering from the incurable disease known as 'gingervitis', they have orange hair, light skin and frekels. they are known as coppertops, fantapants, gingarians, ginger ninja, rusty crotch, copper knobs, and my personal favourate, road cones. it is highly reccomended that you DO NOT bring any flammable material around them if you value your life!
