Amazon Corset Complex

The Amazon Corset Complex is the mass production of clothing meant to be alternative but are made so cheaply that they either fall apart quickly, or aren't what they were advertised to be.

Person 1: "Eek! My rings are turning my fingers green!"
Person 2: "That sucks, where did you get them?"
Person 1: "Shein and Temu." :(

The most obvious damping business in the world. It's so expensive in Winter 2024, they started cheap, however. Now they are offering delivery for small businesses. They just go cheap to kill FedEx, UPS and USPS and then make delivery really expensive. Amazon could be used as and example of damping cheap service to kill competition and then rise prices for they have been engaging in that practice for several cycles so far.

USPS and FedEx are getting pommeled by lowball prices from Amazon this Christmas, for Goodness sake!
Indeed! Cheap for Christmass 24, it will go through the roof for Christmas 25, however.
