homophobe

A person who wishes to oppress individuals based upon their sexual orientation.

Is taken to encompass closet-cases, though not all homophobes are. Some are uncomfortable with homosexuality, others are associated with the religious right. All claim to have good reasons for denying other human beings their rights, but are not actually able to justify it.

Homophobes tend to use the word "faggot" quite often to describe homosexual men.

n. A person who displays aggression towards homosexuals, and who are usually under the misconception that being gay is dirty, or is it a sin. These people are described as being intolerant, narrow-minded and ignorant retards.

n. A person who is so unhappy with their own life that they have to interfere with a homosexuals life and tell them that they're "dirty fags". (there opinion usually doesn't matter, however).

A condition in which insecure losers with nothing better to do bash the gay community because a. they're a redneck b. they're a republican or c. they are fanatically christian, most often catholic.
Something that shouldn't exist because all people should be treated equally regardless of sexual orientation.

He/she discriminates homosexuals, publicly or internally (due to social norms nowadays).
This individual will also see affectionate gestures between same genders as repulsive.

homophile

Just like a homophobe is a straight person who hates, dislikes, or is afraid of homosexuals, a homophile is a straight person who loves homosexuals and would fight for their rights. Sometimes these straight people may be confused with homosexuals since they participate in gay pride events and sometimes even attack homophobes. Depending on the person who uses it, a homophile may be an annoying ultra liberal who complains for gays. Or it may simply be a regular person who does not have anything against gays. Normally its the first one since no body likes to be called a homophobe, and nobody likes to be called a homophile. Homophobes and homophiles can be both be assholes, as one group hates a group of people just for being gay. The other group hares a group of people who simply do not want to be gay.

The boy was scolded by a homophile after the boy said eewww! when he saw to men kiss.

It was fun to watch a homophobe and a homophile fight. I don't care who wins as long as its fun!
