An expression used (typically through text) as a way to find out if the person you are talking to is okay with what you just said. If they are okay with it, then the conversation can continue to build. If not, then you can confirm it was only a joke.

John: You, me, and your girlfriend should have a three way.
John: ...just kidding?
Ben: That would be really weird.
John: *hesitation* Yeah I know.

Example 1:

Girl 1: What happened to your face?? It looks like you got in a fight with a raccoon...

Girl 2: Huh?? You don't like my make up?!?

Girl 1: I'm kidding!!

Example 2:

Girl 1: Your boyfriends a manwhore. I slept with him last night. He wasn't all that good either.

Girl 2: But we promised we would wait til marriage!! *bursts into tears*

Girl 1: Umm...I'm kidding?

Girl 2: Oh okay!

Nondescript post-industrial redbrick town in the Midlands (UK), good football team, top countryside nearby. About 20 minutes from Birmingham which actually has cinemas, shops and good places to get pissed. Lots of skaters / alternative people & almost as many charvas to grief them relentlessley. Rotting factories & concrete 1960s shopping centers and tower blocks everywhere but hell, i still love it!

+'There's nothing to do in Kidderminster except go out and get wasted.'
