Beautiful People

1) "Beautiful People" is a phrase used by "hippies" in the 1960's counterculture to describe other people in their sub-society. Basically a synonym for "hippie", but "Hippies" was, for many, a somewhat derogatory term; "Beautiful People" is still considered by many "hippie"-like people to be one of the highest compliments. This title became more widely known after the publication of "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test" by Tom Wolfe.

2) Originated from the "Beautiful People Letter", a form letter sent home by many "hippies" to their worrying middle-class mothers.

3) Can be derogatory in and of itself, considering that a lot of so-called "Beautiful People" are actually rich hypocrites trying to be cool.

Beautiful

Beautiful is something you only get to experience once. When people are beautiful they are themselves and have amazing personalities. When something is beautiful it doesn't mean a diamond ring or a fancy necklace. It's a thing that you never want to go away. Some things that are beautiful are love, best friends, soul mates, family, and any other things you believe are beautiful. When you see a beautiful person it's not their looks that make them beautiful; it's their soul. So if you happen to see something beautiful cherish it. Don't let it go because you won't get the same moment twice.

Different to pretty, it's not just perfect skin and eyes bright coloured eyes that look chinese when you smile. It's having the right bone structure to be able to look good from any angle, and a certain way in which you carry yourself that strikes the attention of people without looking obvious.
